ISI 2002-6. Aeonium ‘Bronze Medal’ Out of Stock

The complete parentage of this hybrid is unknown, but at least one parent seems identifiable. The compact rosettes—to 2.5" across—of red-marked glutinous leaves and hemispherical habit point to A. sedifolium. The second parent is uncertain. The resulting hybrid is here named ‘Bronze Medal’, alluding to the bronzy coloration the compact medallion-like rosettes acquire during summer dormancy. As its dormancy is not extreme, the plant is not adversely affected by summer watering and fertilizing. Rooted cuts of HBG 86243, a plant of uncertain horticultural origin. $5.
