ISI 2002-10. Aloe erythrophylla Bosser Out of Stock

Named for the tendency of the leaves to blush red in bright light, especially when stressed from cold or drought, this is perhaps the most strikingly-colored Madagascan aloe. HBG 85172, plants from controlled pollination of Röösli & Hoffmann 4495, collected Dec. 4, 1995, growing on quartz rocks south of Col d’Itremo, Madagascar. $8.50.
