ISI 2002-23. Euphorbia pedilanthoides Denis Out of Stock

A caudiciform (at least when grown from seed) E. milii relative with slender stems covered with fine bristly prickles between the larger paired stipular spines and delicate lance-linear leaves. The stem tips bear clusters of bright red, beak-like inflorescences with paired cyathophylls enclosing the flowers, similar to those of the related genus Pedilanthus. HBG 85652, from controlled pollination by Röösli & Hoffmann of plants collected by A. Razafindratsira at Ankarafantsika, Madagascar. $8.50.
