ISI 2004-2. Echinopsis ‘Ring Nebula’ Out of Stock

This new selection has broad ovate petals of a difficult to specify orangish-red. The ring formed by the bases of the outer stamens is a distinct flaring yellow at the mouth of the greenish throat. The entire combination is reminiscent of some of the dramatic photos of the Ring Nebula (M57) in the constellation Lyra as photographed by the Hubble space telescope. The flower can reach a diameter of 10.5 cm. Rooted cuts of HBG 90207, R. Schick 1492-3. $9.50.
