ISI 2013-7. Agave margaritae Brandegee Out of Stock

This agave is endemic to just a couple of islands off the Pacific coast of southern Baja California. Its modest-sized rosettes and short, broad leaves distinguish it from other Baja species and make it a desirable landscape or container specimen. This collection has thrived in the Baja bed at the Huntington since 1984. We offer tissue-cultured plants of HBG 48406, a clone collected by Kei Nakai at the type locality, Magdalena Island, Baja California, Mexico. $7.
