ISI 2014-17. Cyphostemma laza Descoings Out of Stock

Like the more commonly grown C. juttae, this species is prized for its massive pachycaulous stems. Originating from the thorn forests of southern Madagascar, C. laza differs in having liana-forming stems that climb with the aid of tendrils. This vigorous growth can be tamed with frequent pruning though the more foliage one can accommodate, the faster the base will thicken up. We offer HBG 99742, plants from seed collected by Röösli & Hoffmann (# 6/07) December 11, 2007 at Manja, Madagascar. Limit one per customer. $20.
