ISI 2017-22. Kalanchoe humilis Britten Out of Stock

In 1986 we offered a form of this species HBG 49154 as ISI 1672 (still available for $7). That form came to us from the late English nurseryman Clive Innes. It has upright to sprawling stems with ascending, opposite, obovate leaves to about 3 cm of glaucous pinkish color, spotted with red to purple markings. More recently a rather different form has become available. This has more compact, flatter rosettes of larger leaves 6 cm or more long that are green with very ornamental purplish banding. Both forms have similar slender, paniculate inflorescences with tiny tubular flowers. Reported from Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique but the precise origin of either form discussed here is unknown. HBG 128482, $8.
