ISI 2017-27. Sansevieria fischeri (Baker) Marais Out of Stock

Sometimes grown under the apt synonym S. singularis in reference to the solitary, erect, nearly cylindrical, mature, tusk-like leaves. These are similar to those of S. stuckyi but are shorter, usually under a foot tall, and are darker forest-green with white banding. The species is recorded from Somalia south to Tanzania though most collections seem to originate from Kenya. We offer divisions of HBG 71769, collected by Juan Chahinian (CH 557) in March of 1992, 2 km from Mwatate along the road to Maktau, Coast Province, Kenya. $8.
