ISI 2020-19. Cheiridopsis umdausensis L. Bolus Out of Stock

This is a smaller and considerably less common species than C. denticulata listed above. Its leaves are similar to those seen in C. aspera, covered with scattered white papillae like crystals of salt. The flowers bear an unusually large petal count (actually petaloid staminodes) of satiny, light yellow. We offer rooted cuts of HBG 65881, a plant from Steven Hammer, originally from seed collected by Graham Williamson (3883) in July, 1988 in the Umdaus area, N. Cape, S. Africa. $7.
