Echinopsis ‘Consolation’ Out of Stock

Flower fragrant, to 4¾ inches (12 cm) across. Petals obovate, mucronate, light yellow with light russet tips, inners often ruffled. Throat-circle light yellow. Outer stamens form a wide circle; filaments yellow. Stigma exserted, light green. Flowers fragrant. Stem barrel-like, to 3¾ inches (9.5 cm) in diameter; central spines to 1 inch (25 mm) long. The name was inspired by the piano piece, Consolation, by Felix Mendelssohn. ISI 2000-7; HBG 85181, Schick 1405-71.
