Echinopsis ‘Hyrave’ Limited Quantity

Flower to 6 inches (15 cm) across. Petals linear-oblong, bicolored glossy dark, magenta and bronzy-orange or red with a dark red midrib. Outer petals and sepals projecting beyond inners, sepals largely dark red. Throat-circle white. Filaments magenta. Stigma exserted, white. Stem semicolumnar, to 3¾ inches (9.5 cm) in diameter; central spines to ½ inch (13 mm) long. Named for James Harvey Welton of Mexican Hat Nursery in Riverside, California. ‘Hyrave’ is an anagram for his middle name. ISI 2000-12; HBG 85185, Schick 1254-11.
