Echinopsis ‘Ishtar’

Flower to 4¾ inches (12 cm). Petals relatively few, broad, rhomboidal, strongly ruffled and crinkled at sides, ashen pink to orangish-pink, with purer pink midrib and cream-colored basal stripe. Filaments dark orangish-tan. Stigma green. Stem semicolumnar, to 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter; central spines to ¼ inch (5 mm) long. Named for the Akkadian goddess of love and war.
