Echinopsis ‘Samadhi’ Limited Quantity

Flower to 4¾ inches (12 cm) wide. Petals ovate, truncate to obtuse, distal half reflexed, even at relatively cool temperatures, magenta with paler margins, with dark coppery basal stripe. Throat-circle pink. Filaments mostly dark magenta. Stigma, prominently exserted, white. Stem semicolumnar, to 4½ inches (11.5 cm) in diameter; spines to 1 inch (26 mm) long. Samadhi is Sanskrit for the highest stage in meditation in Hinduism and Buddhism in which a person attains a state of joyful calm or rapture and exalted happiness.
