Echinopsis ‘Sleeping Beauty’

Flower with a rich, sweet, lemony aroma, to 4½ inches (12 cm) across. Petals broad, obovate, mucronate, inners strongly ruffled, light orange to amber with hint of orange, midrib lighter. Outer petals flat, obtuse to truncate, mucronate, delicate pale pink. Throat-circle white. Filaments dark amber. Stigma white. Stem olive green, globular, to 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter; central spines to 1 inch (26 mm) long. ISI 97-28; HBG 80614, Schick 107-4.
