Flower star-like in form, bicolored pink and white, to 6 inches (15 cm) across. Petals moderately broad, inner and intermediate petals pure white with light purplish-pink tips, outer petals and sepals projecting beyond those petals, dark purplish-pink, contrasting strongly. Filaments white. Finally we have propagated enough to offer this slow-growing hybrid, one of Bob’s favorites for many years because of “the flower’s beautiful, aristocratic appearance”. Best when opened at about room temperature or somewhat warmer. Rooted cuts of HBG 89131, Schick 1244-64. $9.50.
