There have been intensive efforts in the breeding of H. truncata, especially in Japan, to create new patterns and colors in its distinctive, truncate, windowed leaves. The cultivar offered here was created and named by Myron Kimnach, who crossed two thick-leaved clones of H. truncata he obtained from Dr. Meredith Morgan in the 1950s. It is named for its windows being milky instead of the usual green. Rooted offsets from tissue culture of HBG 123343, $15.
