Recent work by Paton et al. in 2019 has returned a number of Plectranthus species to the genus Coleus. This one has been cultivated under various names, including Plectranthus argentifolius, and is sometimes mislabeled as Plectranthus coeruleus or Aeolanthus repens. In any case, its thick, succulent, grayish, decussate leaves and comparatively large flowers make it a charming addition for a rockery or dish garden. Given its native range of Somalia and Yemen, it is also surprisingly drought tolerant. We offer rooted cuts of HBG 141107. $10.
