ISI 2024-15. Gasteria bicolor var. liliputana (Poelln.) van Jaarsv.

The varietal epithet seems particularly appropriate for this lilliputian form of Gasteria bicolor. Its dwarf, clustering fans of leaves barely span 7 cm. (3”) from tip to tip. The inflorescences bear the typically showy, reddish, gasteriform buds of the genus but open paler pink. We offer divisions of HBG 118583, from an unknown source but said to originate from near Grahamstown, E. Cape, S. Africa. $8.
