Flower disk-like in form, to about 5¼ inches (13.5 cm) across. Petals oblanceolate, apex obtuse to truncate, colored in shades of pink. Throat olive green. Filaments light pink; inner stamens completely circling the narrow throat. Stem semicolumnar, to 3½ inches (9 cm) in diameter, spines short, somewhat less than ¼ inch (5 mm) long.
