Flower fragrant, to 3½ inches (9 cm) across. Petals yellow with lighter midribs, inner petals broadly oblanceolate, ruffled. Throat-circle and filaments yellow. Flowers fragrant. Stems sprawling, to only 2½ inches (6 cm) in diameter; central spines to ¼ inch (7 mm) long. The plants requires more protection from the sun than most of the other hybrids lest they sunburn.
