Flower to 4½ inches (11.5 cm) across. Inner petals obovate, truncate to slightly emarginate, lacerate, light beige with purplish-pink midrib. Throat green, contrasting to petals and milky purplish-pink filaments; outer stamens in a wide circle. Stem semicolumnar, to 2¾ inches (7 cm) in diameter, handsomely adorned with closely spaced spine clusters, spines to ⅝ inches (16 mm) in length. ‘Keepsake’ has a sort of old-fashioned, sepia-toned beauty.
