Flower to 5 inches (13 cm) across. Petals numerous, oblanceolate, bicolored peach and deep yellow, inners gently ruffled about half-way towards base. Throat-circle and filaments yellow. Stem columnar, to 2¾ inches (7 cm) in diameter; central spines to ¾ inch (18 mm) long. Named for Miss Margaret J. Martin, a pioneer in the hybridizing of Echinopsis.
