Flower star-like, to 5½ inches (14 cm) across. Petals dusky white with pure white midrib, inners acute. Outer petals and sepals projecting beyond inners, sharply acute to acuminate, some outers and all sepals with light grey midstripe. Throat-circle, filaments and stigma white.
